Just saw the early showing of Terminator Salvation, and I was impressed with the movie. It tied into the other movies, and wasn't like a lot of other sequel movies that kinda touched base but then go into a whole other direction. This movie kept to the script and explained a lot, but also raised more questions and definitely a place for there to be another one!
The movie had great special effects, and was action packed. It wasn't too much action that there was no story, but at some parts I was like okay, you shot your gun enough, I want this to hurry up. It probably was because I was tired, and wanted to sleep, but it still was a great movie.
There was a special appearance in this movie as well, just when you though this was going to be a terminator without the biggest name that really made it's catch phrase so famous, "I'll be back". The Governator him self was in this, or at least some very well done computer graphics made it look like Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the movie. And they also didn't mess up the trend of using those famous words, even though it was kinda cheesy.
So over all this movie gets a 4 out of 5 movie tickets, definitely a must see movie this summer, and I was impressed with it! Now for the next Terminator to hurry up and get here, hopefully not as long as it tool this one though.
