Let's chalk it up to it being a holiday week that I am spitting out the movie reviews like crazy.
Okay, let me cut to the chase- I CANNOT believe it was him! I was pulling for Patrick the entire time. It just makes me sick! His death wasn't so pleasant either.
I really enjoy the science vs. religion conversation- so the back and forth of the two points of view throughout the movie was very interesting to me. Ah, just think how our lives might be different if they were philosophical standpoints that worked together more often than not...(lost in thought.....)
Sorry. Back to the movie review: THE EYEBALL was a brilliant piece of horror. Loved it! How deliciously gross-
I really enjoy Robert Langdon's sense of humor. Some of his replies are so dry and funny. I appreciate the giggle in the midst of such a serious movie.
A couple of things that got on my nerves:
1. Really?! The power was down in a significant part of the grid at a specific time- and IMAGINE THAT- it just happens to cause plot wrenching moments for our characters 3 separate times....a little too much, I thought.
2. What fool assassin is going to take the getaway car that is provided for him? Really?! They always kill the guy they hired to kill for them!! These assassins need to get some brains. Have your own car rented- something. The whole bomb-in-the-car situation is very predictable.
Good Quotes:
"Are you anti-Catholic? No, I am anti-vandalism."
"Faith is a gift I have yet to receive."
"Be careful. These are men of God."
